# The Curious Few — Community terms

Effective from 27 October 2026.

## About these terms

The Curious Few is a private community for people working in SEO, AI search and content. These terms cover our website at [thecuriousfew.io](https://thecuriousfew.io), invitation requests and the community at [community.thecuriousfew.io](https://community.thecuriousfew.io), including its discussions, courses, resources, profiles and messages.

The operator is **Snippet Digital Limited** (“we”, “us” or “our”). Contact us at [suganthan@snippet.digital](mailto:suganthan@snippet.digital), or write to 15–17 Church Street, Stourbridge, DY8 1LU, United Kingdom.

These are community-specific terms. A Keyword Insights software subscription remains subject to its separate product contract and billing terms. Our [Privacy Policy](/privacy/) explains how we handle personal information.

We will make the applicable terms available before you agree to them or activate membership. Transferring an existing account to a new platform does not, by itself, mean that you have accepted new terms.

## Membership and invitations

The community is **invite-only**. New membership is for customers with a qualifying paid Keyword Insights subscription, following their first successful subscription payment. It is not open to general registration.

An invitation request lets us check your eligibility; it does not create an account, guarantee an invitation or grant access. Use the email associated with your KWI account. We may ask for information reasonably needed to resolve an account match. Never send payment-card details or passwords.

Invitations are personal to the intended recipient. Do not transfer an account or share a personal invitation without our agreement.

You must be **18 or over** to participate in this professional community. If you participate on behalf of a business, you must have permission to share its information.

## Existing members keep free access

Everyone who belonged to the original Keyword Insights community before this relaunch, including former paying members and free members, keeps their entitlement to free community access. There is **no separate community subscription or renewal fee**.

You do not need an active KWI subscription to retain that existing entitlement. Buying, cancelling or not renewing a KWI plan does not remove it. Separately approved free-access arrangements also remain protected.

Membership remains subject to these terms, community guidelines and the availability of the service. Free access is not a promise that the community or every course will be available indefinitely.

## New customers and cancellation

For new members whose access comes from a paid KWI subscription, community access is included until the end of the qualifying paid period, with no separate community fee.

If you cancel or do not renew, subscription-based access ends when your **final paid period expires**. Scheduling a cancellation does not remove access immediately. Annual subscribers retain access for the remainder of the annual period already paid for.

If you reverse a cancellation before expiry, or another qualifying subscription remains active, we will take that continuing eligibility into account. If you later become eligible again, access should be restored to your original community account.

This rule never replaces an existing or separately approved free-access entitlement. Contact us if you believe your eligibility has been matched incorrectly so a person can review it.

Ending subscription-based access is different from deleting an account. We do not automatically delete your posts, profile or account because a paid access period ends. The [Privacy Policy](/privacy/#retention-and-deletion) explains retention and deletion.

## Looking after your account

Use an email address you control and keep your login details secure. For a migrated account, use the original community email to claim your existing profile. If that address is no longer available, contact us so we can verify ownership safely.

You may use an appropriate display name. You do not need to publish your email or confidential personal details in your profile.

Do not impersonate someone else, bypass access controls, share an account to give another person access or collect members’ information without permission. Tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.

## Taking part

Keep conversations constructive, relevant and respectful.

- Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse others.
- Do not post unlawful material or infringe another person’s rights.
- Do not spam, send unsolicited bulk messages or misrepresent a commercial offer.
- Disclose relevant commercial relationships, affiliate interests and conflicts when recommending something.
- Follow category rules. Course and resource areas maintained by the team may be read-only for members.
- Do not post passwords, access tokens, payment details or unnecessary personal information.
- Share client work or private business material only when authorised and after removing information that should remain confidential.

Use the report tools or contact us about concerns. Do not publish another person’s private messages or identifying information outside the community without appropriate permission or another lawful justification.

## Your contributions

You keep ownership of the material you contribute and are responsible for having the rights needed to share it.

You give us non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, display, reproduce, format and moderate that material as needed to operate the community, maintain conversations and make backups. This does not give us a general right to sell your content or reuse it in unrelated marketing.

Closing an account does not necessarily remove every contribution or quotation. We consider deletion and anonymisation requests alongside other people’s rights, legal requirements and justified reasons for retaining records.

The community requires login, but that is not a guarantee of confidentiality. Members can copy material they can access. Some uploaded files and hosted videos can be opened by anyone with their direct link. Private messages are not end-to-end encrypted; authorised administrators may access relevant records when necessary for support, safety, legal compliance or an investigated complaint.

## Courses and resources

We or our licensors own the official courses, recordings, written resources and branding unless otherwise stated. You may learn from these materials and apply that learning in your own work, including client work.

Do not resell, redistribute, publicly upload or give unapproved people copies of course materials. A stated licence on a particular resource takes precedence for that resource.

Older discussions and recordings reflect their original dates. Search platforms and software change, so historical material may not describe current behaviour. Community content is general information and does not guarantee rankings, traffic, revenue or other results.

Member recommendations and transactions with third parties are separate from our services unless we expressly say otherwise. Check the relevant provider’s terms; a community link is not an endorsement.

## Moderation and access decisions

We may move, edit, unlist or remove content, limit posting or suspend membership to enforce guidelines, protect people or comply with legal obligations.

Where appropriate, we will explain the issue and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond. We may act immediately where delay creates a safety, security or legal risk. You can contact us to ask for a review of a moderation or access decision.

Free membership and paid KWI subscriptions do not exempt anyone from moderation. A community moderation decision does not itself change a separate KWI product contract.

## Leaving and service changes

You can stop participating at any time and contact us to request account closure. Cancelling a KWI subscription and requesting deletion of community information are separate actions.

We may maintain, reorganise or change features of the community. If we decide to close it or materially change membership arrangements, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable. Urgent security, maintenance or legal circumstances may require faster action.

These terms do not authorise a new community fee without explaining the proposed arrangement and obtaining any agreement required by law.

## Responsibility and your rights

We will take reasonable care in operating the community. We do not promise uninterrupted access, every feature’s continued availability or the accuracy of every contribution. Keep your own copies of material you need.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where the law does not permit it, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

For wholly business use, and to the extent permitted by law, we exclude responsibility for indirect or consequential business losses, such as lost profits or business opportunities.

## Changes and disputes

We will publish updated terms with an effective date and give appropriate notice of material changes. We will seek fresh agreement where required rather than treating an undisclosed change or migration as acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of **England and Wales**, with its courts having jurisdiction over business disputes. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections and court rights available where you live are preserved.

Please contact [suganthan@snippet.digital](mailto:suganthan@snippet.digital) first so we can try to resolve a concern.
